The Government’s objective with this SOW is to reestablish the Escondida Drain Outfall to the Rio Grande allowing captured drain flows to enter the Rio Grande.  Stoven relocated approximately 660 linear feet of Escondida Drain to the south.  This is to assist the river in maintaining a clear channel and minimize sediment blockage.  We also managed vegetation through mowing and removal within Reclamation’s easement to provide access and increase drain flows back to the Rio Grande.
