Central Elementary Security Vestibule
As a method to improve safety protocols at the Belen Central Elementary, STOVEN was contracted to install (2) new hollow metal systems. Both systems included access control hardware and power for future automatic door closures.
The first system required us to remove a partial existing hollow metal system with glazing on the South end of the administration office. Matching the design of the existing system, we incorporated a door, new glazing, and a new service counter with a pass thru window. Minor tile and paint work was required for a seamless look.
The second system closed in an open space from the entry lobby to the North end of the administrative office. The existing space does house a roll-up security gate and the gate was left functional as added protection to the new hollow metal system. The new system included a new door, access hardware, future automatic door opener prep, and glazing. Minor tile and paint work was required for a seamless look.
